It has been proven time and time again that creosote buildup in a chimney is dangerous and increases the likelihood of a chimney fire occurring. Anti-Creo-Soot (ACS) was first introduced in 1982. It is a manganese catalyst that improves safety and efficiency in wood or coal burning stoves, furnaces, boilers, fireplaces & pellet stoves.
This product is recommended for daily use to attack creosote buildup, and also to help chimney sweeps remove stubborn creosote. Each day, spray 6-12 squirts on the inside of the firebox, wood, and toward the flue.
